College of the Ozarks Honor America Celebration
Directions: Take Hwy 65 South from Branson area. Exit off at Birch and stay in right lane. Take right on Birch. College is straight ahead after next stop light.College of the Ozarks’ annual Independence Day celebration. The celebration will be held June 29, the school announced today.
The 19 annual Honor America Celebration will feature music, food, children’s activities, Uncle Sam, free watermelon and will end with a fireworks display.
Festivities begin at 4:30 p.m. Live music will be provided by the Southwynns Bluegrass Band, the Cajun Connection, Branson’s 50’s at the Hop and the 135th Army Band of Springfield.
The festival is free and open to the public.

Recently, Bucky earned the honor of "Branson Singer of the Year 2005" by Branson Critic. Fireburst Celebration- Kimberling City
Directions: Take Hwy 76 West and turn left onto Hwy 13 South. Follow 13 South to Kimberling City. Approximately thirty minutes from Branson.The 21st Annual Fireburst fireworks show will be held again this year over the waters of Table Rock Lake! The Fireburst 2008 Spectacular can be viewed by car, boat or on foot. An estimated 1,000 boats will gather again to experience this popular summertime event. Fireworks show begins at dusk July 4th. Bring your lawn chairs. Admission is free!
Over 1,000 boats will crowd the lake for this huge fireworks show on Table Rock Lake in Kimberling City. Just minutes from the lights of Downtown Branson, Fire burst will set off your imagination with an unbelievable fireworks show. Whether on foot or all aboard, there is no bad seat in the house. Head to Indian Point, near West Branson, and bring a chair to enjoy the festivities from land as the sky is striped with color and blasting with this popping heard only once a year.

Hollister 4th of July Celebration
Directions: Take Business 65 south across Taneycomo bridge. After bridge take right south to downtown Hollister.Celebrate 4th of July in Hollister…the longest running fireworks show in Taney County.
Historic Downing Street, Business 65 and BB Highway are lined with spectators each year to enjoy fireworks, patriotic music and family fun. The City of Hollister’s Park Department and volunteers from Western Taney County Fire Protection District hand light a spectacular fireworks display. The Independence Day Celebration is a fun-filled community event for the citizens of Hollister and area visitors. The Fireworks show will have over 800 large displays. Bring your lawn chairs. No alcoholic beverages are allowed. Admission is free!

Directions: Take Hwy 65 North and exit at Hwy F. Turn right and take Hwy F then turn right onto Hwy 160. Go 1.6 on Hwy 160 then take right on MO 176. Turn right on South Cave Ave. Continue to follow Mo 176. Arrive at downtown area. Around 15-20 minutes from Branson.Monday, July 4. Activities run from 3-9 PM with Fireworks starting at 9:00
Activities, food, and fun for the whole family with entertainment, professional skateboarding exhibition, and Army Blackhawk Helicopter on display. Fireworks can be viewed from Lake Taneycomo.
