What Are The Best Things To Do In Branson MO?

When asking what are the best things to do in Branson we need to narrow down what it is that you and/or you family like to do.  Branson offers many things to do such as shows, theme parks, dining, shopping, outdoor activities and a lot more.

Shows

If sitting in a relaxing theater and enjoying music, comedy, magic, or other similar entertainment is some thing you like to do, then Branson has many options sure to please.   If you’re looking for the best, one of Branson’s originals, The Presleys’ Country Jubilee, is a favorite “to-do” for many Branson visitors.  They offer a great variety of music with dash of humor. Jim Stafford is another long standing favorite for return visitors.  Other shows that offer a variety for all interests are Liverpool Legends, Hamner Barber, Yakov Smirnoff, SIX and more.

Shopping

Do you enjoy strolling from shop to shop in search of the next great bargain?  If so, consider yourself lucky because Branson has some of the best shopping to offer.  You’ll find 3 outlet malls conveniently located to the “strip”.  The outlet malls are The Factory Outlet Mall also known as the “red roof mall” because of it’s distinctive roof line, Tanger Mall, and The Shoppes at Branson Meadows. 

For a more unique shopping experience Branson’s newly opened Branson Landing may be just the “thing to do”.  Situated along the banks of Lake Taneycomo in downtown Branson, the Landing will provide a unique experience complete with shopping and dining all topped off with a magnificent $7.5 million water fountain spectacular, synchronized to light, sound, music, and fire.

Outdoors

Branson is abundant with plenty of great outdoor things to do as well.  You’ll find some of the best fishing in the Midwest in the Tri-lakes area.  Table Rock and Bullshoals lakes are great for warm fresh water fishing, while Lake Taneycomo is the place to be if you are looking for some trout fishing in the cold fresh water.

Zip lines have recently made an appearance in the Branson area.   Branson Zip Line and Canopy tours is offering exciting zip line tours that last up to 2.5 hours.  Hiking the Ozarks is also fun and easy with a variety of trails that will be fun for novices and more seasoned hikers alike.
