The 15/70 film format used to create a Giant-Screen IMAX Adventure is ten times larger than a conventional 35mm film! The sheer size of a 15/70 film frame, combined with the unique IMAX projection technology, is the key to the extraordinary sharpness and clarity of Giant-Screen Adventures. Presented six stories tall and 83 feet wide, with 22,000 watts of digital surround sound, IMAX will take you places beyond your wildest dreams and throughout history just take a look!

Branson's IMAX Entertainment Complex will kick-off the 2012 season of exhilarating Giant-Screen IMAX Adventures with the 19th Annual IMAX FilmFest, March 9 thru May 10, 2012, featuring five all-new films.

Ozarks Legacy & Legend - Rated G

In the 1820s, two young brothers arrive as orphans in America, searching for a home. Against the backdrop of spectacular beauty and featuring a blend of gospel, country, and bluegrass music, THE FIDDLE is their story of young love, marriage and childbirth -- of Ozark families torn apart by the drama of the Civil War, the lawlessness of vigilantes and the skirmishes of the Prohibition era. Join Storm Chasers star Sean Casey and the researchers of VORTEX 2, the most ambitious effort ever made to understand the origins and evolution of tornadoes, on this heart-pounding science adventure. "The Living Sea" celebrates the world ocean -- its beauty, diversity and importance to life on earth. Filmed in locations around the world, "The Living Sea" also explores our relationship with this complex and fragile environment. (39 minutes)

Rescue - Rated G

Rescue plunges audiences into the hard, but inspiring work of saving lives in the face of a natural disaster. Behind the scenes, the film follows a Canadian naval commander, two pilots, and a volunteer rescue technician as they train for action. When an earthquake strikes Haiti, creating one of the biggest humanitarian disasters of the century, the audience is swept along, joining with the massive effort that brings military and civilian responders and hardware from around the world. Rescue is a journey of real-world disaster and emergency response captured (in 3D) with unprecedented scale and impact for the giant screen. (45 minutes)

Academy Award-winning director and master storyteller James Cameron journeys back to his greatest inspiration - the legendary wreck of the Titanic. With a team of the world's foremost historic and marine experts and friend Bill Paxton, he embarks on an unscripted adventure back to the watery grave where nearly 1,500 souls lost their lives almost a century ago. Using state-of-the-art technology developed expressly for this expedition, Cameron and his crew are able to explore virtually all of the wreckage, inside and out, as never before. With advanced 3D photography, moviegoers experience the ship as if they are part of the crew, right inside the dive subs. Two-time Academy Award winner Meryl Streep will narrate To The Arctic, releasing exclusively to select IMAX theatres starting April 20th, 2012 (60 minutes)
