2012 Information
There is a new little theater in town, and its producing some mighty fine music in the evenings. Unlike many of the larger theaters, the Hot Hits Theater seats 85 and everyone in the audience is up close and personal with the performers. In the evenings, this intimate room is home to the Hot Hits Experience with Chico Vega's Tribute to the Drifters. Rico "J" Johnson is the emcee and a performer, with a lot of spirit and enthusiasm. In the first half of the experience, he trades off with several other members of the rotating cast who grace the stage throughout the season. Dee Dee Vega for 41 years, performs Tina Turner.
Rico is very enthusiastic, and has tremendous amounts of energy as he pumps up the audience. He changes clothes several times through out the evening, almost as many times as Suzi Webber. He does a great job singing "Lucille", a 1954 Little Richard hit and Fats Domino's "Blueberry Hill" before turning the stage over to the other performers.
