Show Description

The Cowboy and Hobo Show    The Cowboy and Hobo Show    The Cowboy and Hobo Show

Nothing short of a fantastic show that is on a limited engagement in Branson. It's a show filled with great harmonies, lots of enegery and featuring many songs you remember. Boxcar Bob looks and sounds like famed Branson star Boxcar Willie. Cactus Willie has been said to sound more like "Willie" than Willie Nelson. The Drifter will be featured performing the title cut from their newest album "I Just Don't Look Good Necked Anymore".
The group is an award winning act of (F.A.M.E.) Families Advocating Moral Entertainment and has been featured in Minnesota, Orgeon and Texas. It's a show you will not want to miss!

Cactus Willie lead guitar player and singer grew up in rural South Carolina where he was influenced by his uncle Lester Flatt. Cactus Willie has performed professionally for a number of years and opened for many music icons that include Ray Price, Billy Walker, Bill Anderson and The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. It has been said that he can do a Willie Nelson song as good as any out there.

Boxcar Bob guitar, mandolin player and singer grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota and retired after 32 years with the St. Paul Police Department. He has opened for Stonewall Jackson and performed at the Midwest Country Theater. Boxcar Bob was voted best male vocalist at the South Texas Music Festival in 1999. It has been noted that Boxcar Bob looks like the famed Boxcar Willie and sounds just as good. Noted as a great song writer, too. His song "Miss You In The Morn" is said to be one of the most beautiful songs out there.

The Drifter upright bass player and singer has been called the marathon man for his tireless hours of performing. An expert bass player with a love for bluegrass music. He began his musical endeavors mastering the banjo. He later discovered the "Dog House" bass and since has been noted for
working with many bluegrass and country bands. "I Just Don't Look Good Necked Anymore" is just one example of the tunes he performs. The Drifter has worked with Tommy Horton and many other professional noted musicians.
