Branson Entertainers participate in 12th Annual Nativity Celebration

“A number of Branson entertainers will be featured in the 12th Annual Nativity Celebration to be held in Springfield, Missouri the first two weekends in December,” said Tammy Johnson, the Director of Operations for the Branson Tourism Center. “According to information received from the events sponsors, the Branson entertainers, scheduled to perform, along with school and community ensembles, are SIX, Duttons, Hughes Brothers, Brett Family, Wayne Galley, Thomas Brothers (performing with the Osmonds), Wornock Singers and George Dyer,” she continued. The 12th Annual Nativity Celebration is being hosted by the LDS Church, 4450 S. Farm Rd 141 (Cox Road) in Springfield, MO from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, December 3, 4 and 5 and December 10,11 and 12,”. It will feature “live Nativity actors portraying a life like Nativity Scene complete with a rustic manger, stable, and live animals” with performances reenacted every 20 minutes during the scheduled hours of operation.  Learn about Nativity traditions from all over the world through the all New International Nativity Display consisting of a “hundred beautiful handcrafted nativity sets showing how people from countries all over the world celebrate the Nativity.”
