It's easier than ever to get to Branson by air
"The recent announcement by Frontier Airlines to add 'seasonal nonstop service between Branson Airport (BKG) and both Austin Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) and Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport (PHX)' expands the choices available for Branson air travelers," said Sharon Budnick, the Director of the Branson Travel Agency, a division of the Branson Tourism Center.
"Couple that with the other Frontier, Branson AirExpress and AirTran service into the Branson Airport and the American, United, Allegiant and Delta service into the Springfield-Branson National Airport (SGF) and its easier than ever to, not only get to Branson by air, but find a value airfare," she continued.
Budnick points out that the new Branson-Austin service will operate Monday, Wednesday and Friday from September 16 through December 14, 2011 and will be provided on 50-seat Embraer 145 aircraft.
