Celebrate the last few days of World-Fest with Mom!
World-Fest, running from April 7 to May 8, is a colorful festive international celebration of entertainment, food and fun that has become as much a part of Spring in the Ozarks as the blooming of the Redbuds and Dogwoods. It has been described as enabling a person "To experience the traditions, culture, music, dancing, food and excitement of many countries throughout the world without leaving America's heartland."
World-Fest features premier performers and acts from all over the world such as the "Russian Academic Band;" "Diego Martin Footprints Folk Performers," from Trinidad and Tobago with steel drums, stilt dancing and fire limbo and "Ecuador Manta" who will all be returning for 2011 by popular demand. Some of the new acts for World-Fest 2011 will be "Canadian Powerhouse," world-championship fiddlers and step-dancers; "Mayorov Russian State Circus" featuring the "German Wheel," amazing acrobatic feats, barbell juggling, comedy and much more; "Irish Eyes Are Smiling," starring Dearbhail Finnegan, internationally acclaimed Irish Harpist, and Irish Tenor, Michael Londra; "Rhythms of Rajasthan" from western Rajasthan in India and, for three days only, May 6-8, the "Slovenian Polka Party."

Silver Dollar City 2 Day for the Price of a 1 Day Pass
- The FLW Bass Tournament on Table Rock Lake - May 4-9, 2011

The Walmart FLW Tour on Table Rock Lake presented by AMP Energy visits Branson, Mo., May 5-8 for the fifth stop of the season. Hosted by Branson/Lakes Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, the tournament will feature as many as 300 top bass anglers casting for top awards of up to $125,000 cash in the Pro Division and up to $25,000 cash in the Co-angler Division.
Anglers will take off from Table Rock State Park Marina located at 5272 Highway 165 in Branson at 6:30 each morning. Thursday and Friday weigh-ins will be held at the marina beginning at 3 p.m. Saturday, and Sunday's final weigh-ins will be held at the Branson Convention Center located at 200 Sycamore St. in Branson beginning at 4 pm.
Fans will be treated to the FLW Outdoors Expo at the Branson Convention Center on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. prior to the final weigh-ins. The first 300 kids 14 and under on Sunday will receive a free rod and reel combo courtesy of US 97. Fans can also register to win a Can-Am ATV presented by the News Leader which will be given away following the final weigh-in. The Expo includes Ranger boat simulators, the opportunity to interact with professional anglers, enjoy interactive games, activities and giveaways provided by sponsors, and fans can learn more about the sport of fishing and other outdoor activities. All activities are free and open to the public.
