Trail of Lights

Branson’s “Trail of Lights” at the Shepherd of the Hills Homestead is a favorite visitor tradition! Displays that run from touchingly subtle to elaborate and exciting; using themes from traditional to contemporary, and employing brilliant lights, delightful animation, and your favorite holiday music…it’s what keeps visitors returning year and year! Religious, patriotic, humorous, and Victorian themes can be found throughout the two and a half mile annual holiday display. Winding through the historic Shepherd of the Hills Homestead, the place that helped inspire Harold Bell Wright to pen his best-selling novel, the attraction follows a trail that was once used by early settlers of this beautiful area of the Ozark Mountains.
