The Legend of Kung Fu tells the story of a young boy, Chun Yi (the pure one), who is apprenticed to learn the ancient art of Kung Fu. This story is told through the eyes of the young boy and his older Kung Fu Master. Along the way he overcomes obstacles, is distracted and ultimately achieves the designation of master.
The Legend of Kung Fu has performed world-wide with over 4000 performances including China, London, Vancouver, Russia, Japan and now finds a new home in Branson, MO. Beijing meets Broadway live in Branson when this production combines the elements of kung fu, story-telling, acrobatics, modern dance and original music to celebrate the philosophy and skill of martial arts. Described as Cirque du Soliel, dance, aerial acrobatics combined with the story of the art and skill of Kung Fu. While many shows are a series of one amazing feat after another, this show combines the best of that style interwoven with a beautiful story.
The Legend of Kung Fu was the designated show for the opening of The Beijing Olympics and features more than 50 artists on stage with spectacular sound, lights and costumes native to China. A whirlwind of enchanting music and artistry showcase this beautiful story of Chun Yi.
