Like no other show in Branson, Ozark Murder Mysteries challenges the audience to follow the clues and pinpoint the perpetrator, while a complete feast fuels deeper belly laughs and quicker thinking. We offer up to four different interactive shows throughout the year and with each one we promise that "you'll laugh until you die!"

Marriage Is Murder - February 8 to May 26, 2013

Since the day they made the honeymoon reservation, everyone at the Lakeside Bed & Breakfast has been anxiously awaiting the arrival of Hollywood newlyweds, Stanley and Jolene Pitt. When the day finally dawns, the lovable innkeeper, Pat Daniels, does everything in her power to make sure the blockbuster stars have a fun, relaxing evening. Things don't go as planned, however, when chaos breaks out and someone mysteriously dies! Frightened of the bad publicity, Pat calls in her old friend and novelist, Angela Fletcher, to help figure out 'whodunnit' before the tabloids get a hold of the story. There are an array of suspects as Angela calculates her way to a solution, but not without a little help from the audience. Join us for an interactive evening of marriage, mayhem, and murder and see if you can get the scoop before Angela does.

Marriage Is Murder 5:00 pm Dinner Menu All shows offer dinner consisting of boneless breaded chicken parmesan, sweet corn, coleslaw, baked potato (butter & sour cream are available), homemade honey cornbread, coffee, water and a chocolate mousse dessert. Coffee and dessert will be served at intermission. Non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages are available. Dinner menu may change later in season.

Speak Easy, Die Hard - May 14 to August 18, 2013

Playing off of Branson's gangster history, this pseudo-1930s murder mystery follows the paths of unlucky moonshine dealer, Peter "Pa" Parker and his even unluckier washed-up, never-been, country music singer friend, Roy Billy-Bob Joe Horton. Peter, wanting to help his friend "make it big" in Branson, enlists financial aid from the gangster community. When payments are missed and collectors come calling, full out insanity ensues in this farce full of bumbling gangsters, mistaken identities, and mysterious murder!

Speak Easy, Die Hard 5:00 pm Dinner Menu All shows offer dinner consisting of baked pork chop, homemade mashed potatoes, coleslaw, green peas, yeast rolls, coffee, water and a chocolate mousse dessert. Coffee and dessert will be served at intermission. Non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages are available. Dinner menu may change later in season.

Murder at the Hop! - June 4 to August 17, 2013

Don't need nothin' but a good time, at least that's the case with jukebox hero, Torch Meadows. After bringing the Paradise City nightclub 'The Hop' back from the dust in 1980, she and her band, Cherry Bomb, return for one final show seven years later before departing on her solo career, but as times change once again it's a question of time before the blasphemous rumors begin. Slick and sly entrepreneur, Gene Fowley is bad medicine, putting club owner Russell, under presssure to rid the club of rock and roll. It's a chain reaction of head games, rebel yells, and backlash once someone is found murdered down on Fascination Street. Of course, nosy investigative reporter, Depeche Deville, from The Rolling Rock, knows that every rose has its thorn and this one murder mystery that she intends to prune. So bang your head and walk this way to "Murder at the Hop," where everyone wants to rock and roll all night and party every day. It's guaranteed to rock you like a hurrricane!

Scared to Death - August 29 to October 31, 2013

Life's no fun without a good scare at least that's the word around the office as the Parrot Pet Company prepares for its annual Halloween Spectacular, an event that Peter Parrot, the owner of the company, and his employees look forward to every year. The spooks will once again be hosted by Buffy and Cantina Canner, sisters and co-owners at the Paradise Night Club with entertainment provided by the slightly unstable, temperamental Lola Aruba. Soon after the costumed guests arrive, a masqueraded murder leaves everyone in attendance scared to death! Detective Cocomo is hot on the trail of this Monster Mash of a murder as he "unravels the mummy's cloth" piece by piece by help from the audience. This is one Halloween party that will leave you howling for more!

It WAS a Wonderful Life - November 2 to December 31, 2013

The Christmas season has once again snuck up on miserable George Daily, making him question why everyone seems to enjoy the holiday except him. Hearing his cries, a shadowed sympathizer helps him out of his quandary by sending him to the other side. While awaiting his final destination, George is visited by a hapless angel named Clarice that shows him the changes his death has brought to the small town of Hollyville. With Clarice's guidance, George is able to view the murder suspects, including his wife, Hailey and his business partner, Mr. Potter, in a new, discerning light that soon allows him to solve his own murder. A twisted parody on an old Christmas classic, It WAS a Wonderful Life is a mystery with a message.

Who Killed Mister Scrooge - November 5 to December 30, 2013

In this modern-day spoof of everyone's favorite Christmas classic, miserly Ed Scrooge begrudgingly throws a Christmas party for his employees. The festivities come to a screeching halt, however, when Scrooge suddenly dies! With so many people hating Scrooge, it will take some clever sleuthing from the audience to figure out whodunnit. And you won't believe who the three ghosts are that show up to offer some clues!

Note: Even though the subject matter of our shows revolve around murder, they are all interactive comedy farces that are appropriate for all ages. Like no other show in Branson, Ozark Murder Mysteries guarantees you will laugh until you die!
