In recent years, the Shanghai Magic Troupe has created a series of excellent magic and acrobatic productions and also acquired a valuable wealth of young artistic performers and personnel who have won Golden, Silver medals, and Prizes for skill and creativeness in many major national and international competitions. The New Shanghai Circus which has toured in the United States, Canada, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, Turkey, Korea, United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Belgium, France, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, enjoys great prestige both at home and abroad. In 1998, the New Shanghai Circus began its performances in Branson, Missouri in the USA. In 1998 the New Shanghai Circus invested in commercial shows in Branson, Missouri and in the following year they won many awards, including "Best Show of the Year" and "The Branson Peace Award". |
