![]() Country Legends from the Grand Ole Opry come together (3 per show) to sing the songs that made them famous and take you back to the memories of the Opry Days. Dont be surprised to see old friends, guests and other entertainers randomly join them on stage. Each of the Ladies performs a show segment alone, telling of some experiences and performing their own hit records. The second half of the show brings the ladies together to joke, interact, and sing the audiences song requests. Throw in their gospel and patriotic songs and you have a full night of old country. Jean Shepard is a legend in Country Music, celebrating 50 years on the "Grand Ole Opry!" Her "Dear John Letter" and "Satisfied Mind" are classics. Jean will entertain you with her experiences and humor. Mary Lou Turner has performed in Branson for many years. You'll remember her best for duets with Bill Anderson, including, "Sometimes" and for starring for years with Boxcar Willie & The Buck Trent shows in Branson. Jody Miller's popularity escalated when she recorded the "answer" song to Roger Miller's hit "King Of The Road" Grammy-nominated for " Queen Of The House" and also on the charts with "He's So Fine" and a duet with Johnny Paycheck, "Let's All Go Down To The River" Norma Jean is best known for her years on the Grand Ole Opry, The Porter Wagoner Show and now at The Cowboy Church of Branson. Nora was nominated for a Grammy for her hit, "let's Go All the Way." Leona Williams is not only a great singer, she has written number one songs for many singing legends, such as George Jones & Merle Haggard. She now records on the ever-growing "Heart of Texas Label. Wanda Jackson has received numerous accolades in her lifetime of Country, Gospel, and Rockabilly music, "Let's Have a Party" among others, earned her the title of Rockabilly Queen. Margo Smith is a world champion yodeler. She writes, sings, and recorded such hits as "Little Things Mean a Lot." Margo recently won a CGMA "Pioneer Award." |
